What Everyone Ought To Know About The lost art of Pin-up art.

Marie Clarie, vintage fashion, art, makeup, retro style,They're many Pin-up artists and a lot of them are loved but Pin-up art is not as popular as it once was.
Back then Pin-up art was seen in magazines, ads, billboards,
but now? not so much. though they're some people who took this age-old art and added a modern twist, like the 2012 April issue of Marie Claire. so let's take a look at ads and Pin-up artist from back then.

Oh, before we get started. for people who are unfamiliar with the term, "Pin-up girl" their traditionally sex symbols and their pictures were often "Pined-up" on a wall. basically, whatever product you put them on sold like hot cakes.

Bradshaw Crandell.
cosmopolitan,vintage cosmopolitan,Veronica lake,retro style,
The artist that is known for illustrating the covers of Cosmopolitan, life magazine, and more! He's known mostly as a "Glamour artist" then a "Pin-up" artist, that's probably because he focuses on Glamour then being in your face sexy. his art is more 1940's style when casual elegant attire was in.

Dan DeCarlo.
Dan De Carlo, vintage fashion,pin-up art,dry martiniThe artist that is known for Millie the model,  Archie,  and more!  His art is funny, seductive, and suggestive. his Pin-up girls style come from a mixture of eras from 40's, 50's, 60's Mostly 1950's tough, the time of independence was shown by dressing differently.

Bill Wenzel.
Bill Wenzel,pin-up art, vintage, retro style,Known for illustrating the book "Tea, coffee, or me?" his Pin-up girls style looks to be mainly 1950's
inspired.  his innuendoes and naughty suggestive illustrations gained his comics and illustrations lots of popularity back then.

I hope you all enjoyed!
